Paperless practices, remote access to patient appointment books and data, multiple branch management and key performance indicators are all aspects of the bespoke optical IT systems to be promoted at Optrafair 2011.
Optix Software managing director Trevor Rowley is encouraging practitioners to visit the exhibition and hear about the latest development in his company's practice management software.
'There tends to be some inertia in optics about something that does the job, but a good IT system should be paying for itself many times over in revenue,' he said.
Other IT companies that will be exhibiting at the show include See20/20, Optisoft, Opticabase, Optinet, Ocuco and Thomson software.
