A survey by the College of Optometrists among its candidates for the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) exams has reflected well on the scheme.

Of the trainees who took the July exam, 94 per cent said assessments were well planned, structured, fair and consistent.

Assessors received very positive feedback from 98 per cent of students. Jackie Martin, director of education at the College, said: ‘This is further evidence of how the College’s Scheme for Registration has developed over the last five years.’
