
Oxsight has tested its latest product development with members of the Macular Society as it hopes to provide restored vision to people living with incurable macular conditions.
Onyx is the second generation of Oxsight’s wearable technology and the smart glasses are designed as a solution for central vision loss.
Cathy Yelf, CEO of the Macular Society, said: ‘Recently, our members have been trialling Oxsight’s new smart glasses and we have had positive feedback about their potential to make a difference to the everyday lives of those living with sight loss.’
Oxsight explained that 100% of the testers said that facial detection improved and 75% said they could read better while wearing Onyx.
