The Specsavers PAC Conference will be held on Sunday October 9 at the ICC in Birmingham and promises up to a year's worth of CET, with seven tracks of clinical, dispensing and contact lens topics.
Organisers of the event, which regularly attracts over 1,000 optical professionals, described the programme as offering practitioners more variety than ever before. Topics range from the effects of drugs and sexually transmitted diseases on the eye and assessing the pupil to the latest dry eye management techniques. There will be a chance to brush up on contact tonometry skills and to consider the causes of non-tolerances in complex dispenses, which organisers said would leave delegates with tangible take-home messages for use in their practices.
