Places are still available at the Specsavers Professional Advancement Committee (PAC) Conference on October 17 at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
Open to all practitioners, the 2010 event has an increased number of hands-on workshops as well as an enhanced programme for trainee dispensing opticians and pre-reg optometrists.
Delegates will be able to earn up to a year's worth of CET points at lectures on a variety of topics such as corneal staining, dry eye and children with reading difficulties. Between six and eight CET credits are available for attendance on the day and prices are £80 for students and £120 for qualified practitioners, which includes a two-course sit-down meal and all refreshments.
