Leading names in the optical profession have joined forces with Specsavers' Professional Advancement Committee for this year's PAC conference.
Entitled 'For a brighter outlook', the event takes place on October 7 at the ICC, Birmingham.
Billed as one of Europe's biggest one-day optical conferences, it is open to all practitioners, and will offer three parallel lecture programmes - clinical, dispensing and contact lenses. New for this year will be an all-day trade exhibition featuring industry suppliers of ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses and optical equipment.
A barcode scanning system will allow delegates to move freely between programmes to ensure CET credits are recorded.
Six CET credits are available for each lecture programme, with up to nine further credits available through quizzes. A total of nine contact lens related credits are available. Topics covered on the day include fitness to practise, non-organic vision loss, dispensing for dyslexia, immunology, cataract surgery, sport vision and contact lens care systems.
