Paralympian wins Vision Express backing

As the dust settles over the Olympic Games, attention has turned to the London 2012 Paralympics and the athletes involved.

Great Britain swimmer Harriet Lee, who has overgrowth disorder Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome, won backing from Vision Express to take part in the Games.

Lee picked up gold in the 100m SB9 breaststroke at the 2010 IPC World Championships in Eindhoven and has been tipped to challenge for a medal in London.

'I'm really grateful to Vision Express for their support,' she said. 'It's tough trying to qualify for a Paralympic place and it's a big help knowing that they are behind me, helping to raise funds and awareness.'
