Patient reminder mobile offer from Incentivated

PaMobile marketing solutions firm Incentivated has launched its Appointment Reminder System to place opticians in control of patient appointments and maximise attendance.

The system was designed so that receptionists could manage patient appointments by integrating with their existing administration system. Patients are automatically reminded of their appointment via text messages.

The system can be used to send group alerts to patients and they can reply to any message.

'Missed appointments are costing opticians around £180m a year and a recent report by the DPP found that forgetfulness was given as the main reason,' said managing director Jonathan Bass.

'We have developed this system using our existing mobile marketing technology.'
