Headed by chief executive Tony Veverka, the team scaled 11 Welsh mountains over 3,000ft in two days.

The event is part of a programme of activities Ultralase is undertaking to raise a total of £27,000 to fund a vision centre in Uganda.

Veverka said: 'The Welsh 3,000 has been a huge test for even the fittest members of our team, but it has been great fun and a fantastic team-building exercise. The real benefit, however, is that our money will be used directly to fund a vitally important vision centre in an area where it is going to make life changing differences to hundreds of lives.'
