Practice management software developer Opticabase has released a full clinical version of its Opticabase software.
The new version, which uses an ‘industry standard’ SQL server as its backbone, complements the current reception and dispensing systems and was said to have been developed with the input of practitioners to increase its usability in practice.
Opticabase said it removed the need for paper patient records and increased note-taking speed with preset keys. Clinical information was said to have been made clearer and records can now be viewed as a whole examination or as separate parts for added flexibility.
