The lenses Ð which are already successful in America, Canada and Australia Ð are recommended for driving and for people with photosensitive eyes, particularly the elderly and those who participate in outdoor activities.
Both single-vision and Varilux Panamic lenses in grey and brown will be available.
The lenses come in Orma 1.5 with 100 per cent UVA and UVB absorption (tint class 3) and come with Crizal as standard in Varilux Panamic, and a choice of Supra or Crizal in single vision. The Crizal coating is applied to the rear surface or both and Precal is recommended.
The company claims the lenses provide the 'best quality of vision with the most effective sun protection', while the polarising filter separates sunlight from light that impairs vision.
