A Tamworth branch of Vision Express has beaten 200 other stores to win the company's 'Store of the year' category.
Vision Express in Ankerside Shopping Centre won the award for Vision Express at a ceremony held in Portugal.
The award criteria were based on the performance of the stores and laboratory plus feedback from customers.
Store director Kash Nijjar expressed his delight at winning the award.
'We were very pleased to win the award. It showed recognition for all of the staff's hard work and endeavours,' he said.
Manager of the Ankerside Shopping Centre, Tony Ford, added: 'It is great that Vision Express has been recognised for the quality of service that they provide to their customers, and we feel it is a great reflection on the centre as a whole.'
