A GOC fitness to practise hearing for Martyn Carl Allen will take place on April 17 in London.
The Council alleges that Allen is guilty of 'deficient professional performance', because between March 12 1999 and August 2004 he did not undertake examinations of a patient's visual fields, optic nerve heads and intraocular pressures.
The Council also alleges that Allen did not refer the patient and failed to act appropriately in view of the patient's signs and symptoms.
