Preppy past is now present

Through its manufacturing and distribution partner Luxottica, Polo Ralph Lauren has released its spring summer eyewear collection. Luxottica said the new collection captured the brand’s preppy heritage and the dynamic nature of the sport-inspired RLX brand.

The acetate PH2013 frame (1) has a large square eye shape and features an embossed logo on the temples. The style is available in a range of subtle masculine matt hues, including black, blue, and brown. The PH 2015 (2) has a similar shape but is constructed from svelte acetate. Metal temples curve around the lugs and end-tip detailing is inspired by maritime signal flags.
