Through its manufacturing and distribution partner Luxottica, Ralph Lauren has released its 2013 spring/summer eyewear collection. Said to have reinterpreted American heritage with equestrian influences, the new six-strong collection features new colours and relaxed silhouettes.
Model RL 6106Q (1) from the American Classic line was said to have been inspired by Ralph Lauren's passion for all things equestrian, evident in the metal stirrup and leather detailing on the temples. The frame has a soft, feminine rectangle shape and is available in a variety of colours, including vintage tortoise, gloss black and pale gold. The RL6101 (2) from the Modern sub-collection shares a similar rectangle silhouette but eschews details for a more minimalist look, with only subtle branding on the temples.
