
The British Contact Lens Association has planned a report on presbyopia and called on professionals to contribute.
The report, BCLA CLEAR Presbyopia, will provide evidence-based guidance on presbyopia and its management, and has aimed to ‘set the standard’ of information for professionals and academics and highlight future research opportunities.
Set to be published in the BCLA journal Contact Lens and Anterior Eye (CLAE) in January 2024 edition, Dr Shehzad Naroo, executive co-chair of BCLA CLEAR Presbyopia and editor-in-chief of CLAE, commented: ‘The previous BCLA CLEAR issue in CLAE on the topic of contact lenses has already shown to be a huge resource for everyone involved in the field of contact lenses. We expect the presbyopia issue in CLAE to be the benchmark in the field of presbyopia.’
