Prof Jones presents at Cleadew launch

Professor Lyndon Jones discussed the impact of solutions on contact lens comfort at two CPD events to launch Cleadew advanced lens care products in Birmingham and London on June 4-5.

Professor Jones, director of the Centre for Ocular Research and Education, discussed the challenge of developing non-toxic, inexpensive solutions that were compatible with all materials and could disinfect and remove deposits.

As Cleadow was an oxidative product, Jones highlighted to the 60-plus attendees at each event that it was ‘incredibly efficacious’ and the only product to ‘absolutely obliterate the Covid-19 virus’.

Nick Atkins, managing director at Positive Impact, said: ‘The events were a great success, making practitioners think about lens care for maybe the first time in 10 years. We had great audience participation with really engaged people, making for highly enjoyable evenings for everyone.’
