Positive Impact (PI) announced that professor Lyndon Jones would be the keynote speaker at two launch events for its new Cleadew contact lens care products, which include Povidone-iodine for disinfection.
The events, worth five interactive contact lens points for CLOs and optometrists and two points for dispensing opticians, would take place in the Midlands and central London on June 4-5.
PI managing director Nick Atkins said: ‘We are delighted to bring to the UK one of the leading researchers and experts in the interaction of contact lens materials with their cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
‘I believe practitioners underestimate the influence of lens care on the safety and comfort of their contact lens patients and this event is the beginning of an educational initiative to raise awareness of its importance.’
