Professor Harminder Dua described the discovery of Dua’s layer, a previously undetected layer in the corneal stroma, when he delivered the 2014 BCLA Pioneers Lecture at the Royal College of Physicians in London this week.
A former president of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Professor Dua received a plaque to mark the lecture from BCLA president Susan Bowers.
