The full speaker line-up has been confirmed for November’s Independents Day programme ‘How to be a Retail Champion’.
CrossEyes CEO Søren Møller has been added to the list of keynote speakers at the November 7 event, which already included retail guru Clare Rayner and entrepreneur Imran Hakim.
iDay programme curator Nick Atkins said: ‘I am delighted that Søren has agreed to speak at iDay. He very much thinks of his business as being independent and he has an interesting approach to optical retail, that I’m confident our delegates will benefit from hearing.
‘Whilst not everyone will agree with his views it can only be healthy to better understand your competition and you never know, some might pick up a few good tips.’
Other speakers at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole include eye care professionals Ian Cameron, Conor Heaney, Andy Clark and David Samuel.
This year Independents Day follows the annual National Eyecare Group Conference in the Midlands instead of its usual slot in early July. Attendance costs £99 for NEG members.
