EssilorLuxottica’s Ray-Ban and Transitions brands come together on the new Change style, which is a light-responsive frame in a new take on the original Wayfarer and Wayfarer Oval models.
Federico Buffa, chief marketing officer, said: ‘Ray-Ban continues to break boundaries and set new trends, keeping innovation at the forefront of design.
Tapping into the power of Transitions and its technology birthed a new way to experience eyewear through light-responsive frames known as Ray-Ban Change.’
The frame combines cellulose acetate with Transitions photochromic dyes that rapidly activate when exposed to UV light.
EssilorLuxottica said the addition of these pigments render each pair with a unique character, so every pattern is one-of-a-kind.
