Rebl rouser in eyewear

Italian manufacturer Pregiata Eyewear has announced a licence agreement for the design, manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic and sunglass frames from what it said was the 'up and coming' Italian fashion brand Tom Rebl.

'We are thrilled to move into the strategic and keenly significant field of eyewear,' said Roberto Bordini, CEO of Lip Srl, owner of the Tom Rebl brand. 'Pregiata is the perfect partner for us in this new project, a company with an entirely fresh philosophy and market approach.'

The agreement will run until December 2020 and a new sunglass collection will be launched in June. The debut ophthalmic range was scheduled for released at Mido 2014.
