Renew online AOP urges

Members of the Association of Optometrists can now pay their membership fees online.

Renewal letters and forms were sent out earlier this month, but the AOP is urging members to use the new online facility. The Association says that this will save it time and money and also allows members to be sure that they have paid. Instant confirmation will be sent by email.

The AOP points out that the figure for concessionary membership was inadvertently left off the forms sent out. Concessionary membership is available to those who practise in the UK for 100 days or less per year and costs £359. Overseas members who wish to remain on the GOC register can take advantage of this category.
