Sight Care cuts joining fee to AOP members

Sight Care Group is offering members of the Association of Optometrists (AOP) a greatly reduced first year membership subscription.

The offer is a bid by both bodies to help independent practices survive the current tough trading climate.

The Sight Care Group has also pledged not to increase existing membership subscriptions next year.

The promotion will run for 12 months and will be limited to 20 AOP members joining a quarter, according to a Sightcare Group spokeswoman.

The saving on the subscription rate will be 50 per cent AOP members will pay £337.50 plus VAT for their first year of membership.
