Ninety-eight per cent of Sight Care's members say the group's understanding of business issues faced by independent practices is good or excellent.
A membership survey, carried out for Sight Care by research company CWR, also revealed that nine out of 10 members describe the group's support services as relevant, while the same proportion consider their membership fee good value.
A CWR spokesperson said: 'Sight Care's members provided the group with glowing feedback throughout the survey. Over four-fifths said they valued attending both the regional and national meetings.
'I very much appreciate and value the feedback we receive from members which allows us to determine areas for improvement as well as shape our future strategy,' said Sight Care's chief executive, Paul Surridge.
