Some 1,000 pairs of designer titanium spectacle frames were stolen from a sales representative's house in Pollokshaws, Glasgow, earlier this month. The haul, which included Marchon and Flexon spectacle frames, is believed to be worth around &\#163;40,000.
The representative, who is the sole supplier for Scotland and the north of England, had left the frames in three black leather suitcases in his home.
