Revo launches eyewear with Columbian singer J Balvin

Premium sunglass maker Revo has launched a range of eyewear with Colombian singer J Balvin, pictured, the first of a new brand called Nrgy by Revo.

The deal is part of a wider arrangement between the US sunglass brand and the Universal Music Group, which handles a raft of international artists such as Taylor Swift, Bob Dylan and Kendrick Lamar. Nrgy brand products will draw on collaboration with the artists for styling and leverage their fan following for promotion.

This first collaboration saw Balvin take the role of creative director and work with designer and stylist Mattias Gollin. Revo said the collaboration would combine Revo’s technical sunglass excellence with Gollin’s creativity to ‘deliver something entirely new’. The launch has been supported by Balvin who has used his social media channels to promote the eyewear.
