RNIB celebrates with free braille and audio books

For the 25th World Book Day, the charity will give free braille and audio

In celebration of World Book Day’s 25th anniversary, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) announced free access to thousands of books in braille and audio.

A selection of 13 titles will be available from the RNIB until March 31, 2022, with the aim of promoting at least ten minutes of reading a day.

James Bartlett, reading services manager at RNIB, commented: ‘The braille and audio versions of these books ensure that blind and partially sighted people have the option to access stories just like any other person. Inclusivity is important so people with different backgrounds and disabilities can join in on the fun and celebrate World Book Day together.’
