
Essilor and the tyre company Michelin have launched a joint initiative at Movin’On, the international summit for safer mobility.
The initiative focuses on raising awareness for the importance of good eyesight and tyres to safe driving. In the campaign artwork Michelin’s mascot, the Michelin Man, joins Essilor’s mascot, Max, in holding a sign reading: ‘Together for safe mobility: Check your vision, check your tyres.’
This campaign builds on the United Nations’ recommendations for enhancing road safety systems, which now include ensuring good vision for all road users, and has been timed to coincide with a gradual return to driving for many who have been in lockdown following coronavirus.
