Rodenstock offers swappable option

Rodenstock is offering wearers a virtually instant new look with swapable temples offering a range of differing looks depending on the wearer's mood.

Model R8010 offers a completely new look in no time at all, says Rodenstock, through a system which does away with the needs for screws and hinges when replacing the temple. This offers the wearer a completely different style of spectacle, depending on how the replaceable temples are combined with the purist front, it adds.

Model R8010 uses a patented temple replacement system that, claims Rodenstock, works without hinges and screws for the first time. Different looks are created by combining the polyamide front with a choice of three different materials for the sides. These emphasise the purist character of the spectacles says the firm with choices of Beech wood, Horn and aluminium. These provide a warm, classic or modern look respectively, it says.
