Rodenstock visits ABDO College students

Rodenstock UK held an educational event for students at ABDO College on March 15 and highlighted its Biometric Intelligent Glasses lens technology.

Andrew Copley, head of professional services at Rodenstock UK, explained how the company could measure the individual eye with its DNEye Scanner and create a bespoke progressive lens.

Dispensing optician students used the technology in Rodenstock’s Airstream trailer and will also visit the company’s headquarters in Dartford for a tour of the lens lab later in the year.

‘It was great to meet some of the students at ABDO College and to introduce them to some of the Rodenstock team. The enthusiasm of the students and their willingness to learn was great to both see and experience. We hope they all enjoyed their afternoon as much as we did and we can’t wait to visit again,’ Copley said.
