Rodenstock wins again

German frame manufacturer Rodenstock has reported a successful attendance at Optrafair, held recently in Birmingham.

The manufacturer said it presented two new versions of its lens products Impression 2 and Multigressiv 2. The company also won first place at the OptraAwards 2013 in the men's sunglasses category, for the Alfred Dunhill frame D1027. It was Rodenstock's third victory in a row in this category.

Rodenstock business manager eyewear Damien Klevge, pictured (right) with FMO chief executive Malcolm Polley, said: 'The carbon fibre print has been applied to black matt leather, creating a result that looks incredible while being scratch proof and extremely durable. The Dunhill eyewear design team has been inspired by this technology and as a result have developed this year's must-have sunglass which is available in four frame colours.'
