International rugby player and Saracens second row Hayden Smith (pictured left) is a new convert to Sauflon's Synergi solution. The US Eagles player's past issues with contact lenses have been resolved with the introduction of new-generation contact lens solutions, according to Simon Rose (also pictured), official optician to Saracens RFC. 'Hayden's prescription does not allow for daily disposables, and in the past solutions have caused some issues with comfort. The combination of the new material technology in contact lenses, and Synergi, has solved these comfort issues.' The optician-only preservative-free multipurpose solution uses triple-action oxipol, combining cleaning, disinfection and lubricating agents.
