British contact lens and solution manufacturer Sauflon has launched a 'recession beating' support programme which it claim includes a 'unique' business proposition for independents aimed at generating repeat business in a difficult trading climate.
Marketing initiatives announced by the company this week include the promotion of its Protector Plan service which provides practitioners with a wide range of contact lenses and solutions that can be delivered either to the practice or direct to the patient's home.
According to Sauflon's UK sales director, Bradley Wells, a 'unique' aspect of this service is the availability of an option for practitioners whereby contact lenses and solutions can be packaged together to meet each patient's requirements.
