Scottish golfer claims spring trophy

 Stirling-based optometrist Duncan Cruickshanks is the winner of the Scottish Optical Golfing Society's recent spring trophy.

Cruickshanks beat runner-up OO Robert Birbeck with 37 points at the spring outing, which was held at Rosemount on Tuesday June 20.

OO Brian Montgomery won the Dunelm trophy with Kenny Mcphee runner-up.

All society members would like to thank sponsors Dunelm, CIBA Vision, Silhouette and Continental Eyewear for their prizes and meal after the game.
