Birbeck wins golf challenge

Optometrist Robert Birbeck from Insight Opticians in Glasgow won the Scottish Optical Golfing Society’s first competition of the year at the Muirfield open championship course earlier this month.

Despite the weather changing from beautiful sunshine to a freezing gale, Birbeck beat his competitors with 35 points.

Players would like to thank Carl Zeiss, Silhouette and Continental Eyewear for their prizes and celebratory meal at the end of the competition.
