Scrivens Opticians has strengthened its foothold in South East England with the acquisition of the Ronald Brown Group of opticians for an undisclosed sum.
The purchase of the 21-branch business, based in London and the Home Counties, follows Scrivens’ acquisitions of the Eye Check and OC Weathersbee groups – six and seven outlets respectively – earlier this year. The Birmingham-based group now comprises 138 optical branches and six dedicated hearing centres.
Services from Scrivens' subsidiary The Hearing Company are now available in 500 branches nationwide, including Dollond & Aitchison and Conlons Opticians.
