SeeAbility expands schools service in London

SeeAbility has called for eye care professionals to join its expanding special schools eye care service to reach more children in London from September 2025.

This followed approval from the Integrated Care Board to expand its provision to another 2,500 to 4,000 children.

The charity said it sought practitioners who wanted to work in a clinically challenging setting providing complex, creative and often life-changing support.

Optometrists and dispensing opticians would receive training with an assigned clinical mentor as well as enrolment on the City, St George’s special schools eye care Masters module.
