Sense Medical Canon roadshow for diabetic screening  

Sense Medical, official distributor of Canon Medical Eyecare in the UK and Ireland, launched its UK roadshow at the end of February to visit diabetic eye screening programmes across the UK.

NHS screening staff would have the opportunity to view Canon’s Xephilio OCT-R1, combining SD-OCT of up to 14.7 x 13.4mm scans and HD 32 mega pixel colour fundus camera.

The fully-automated and easy-to-use OCT-R1 was described as producing high definition, true-colour imaging for high volume patients with a small footprint and easy transportation.

‘We know how busy diabetic eye screening staff are so we wanted to bring this new combination device to them. The roadshow van will be fitted out with the Xephilio OCT-R1 allowing the staff to demo the product themselves,’ said Abdul Jahangir, sales director at Sense Medical.
