Seven members of Specsavers’ support team in Guernsey face redundancy following a retail review by the multiple.
The company was looking to move the members of staff into other roles where possible, it said.
Joint Specsavers CEO John Perkins said: ‘Following a period of sustained expansion there has been a need to review our retail operations in the UK to enable a simpler, more unified approach to our optical, hearing and healthcall businesses.
‘This largely affects the support team based in the UK but has, regrettably, meant that we have had to inform seven people in Guernsey that their current roles are at risk of redundancy.
