Sight Care, the business support organisation for independent practitioners, has announced its 2002 regional business meeting series.
Entrance to the seminars Ð called ÔImproving Business PerformanceÕ Ð is free of charge and the programme will visit 10 venues across the UK in October.
Paul Surridge, chief executive of Sight Care, said: ÔWe expect a record number of delegates. The speaker programme for each of the 10 meetings has been carefully planned to appeal to owners, managers and staff of independent practices.Õ
Three speakers will address each meeting, and the series starts on October 8.
The speakers and their topics are: David Bridle ÔThe strategic role of a DO in independent practiceÕ; Carl Cooper ÔKeeping track of financesÕ; Keith Holland ÔInvest in people and invest in profitÕ; Ruth Perrott ÔNiche marketingÕ; Sean Rock ÔCommunication in practiceÕ; David Samuel ÔMeasurable marketingÕ; Simon Wardle ÔSmart money-effective funding of independent practiceÕ; and Paul Surridge ÔTaking control of your businessÕ.
The venues are Gateshead (October 8), Stirling (October 9), Manchester (October 10), Leicester (October 15), Cambridge (October 16), Slough (October 17), Belfast (October 21), Gatwick (October 22), Bristol (October 23), Exeter (October 24).
