
Specsavers in Loughborough had an unexpected visit from former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, who attended for a sight test at the Market Street practice.
Joshua, who is training in the area for an upcoming fight, stayed after his sight test to speak to staff and pose for photographs.
Tej Chauhan, optical director at the practice, said: ‘The whole team were delighted to meet him. He was so friendly and took the time to chat with us all as well as posing for photos. I was honoured to give him an eye examination to ensure his eyes are in top-notch condition ahead of his next fight.’
