Silhouette working to support refugees

Silhouette International has donated up to 10,000 pairs of high-quality eyewear to the Polish Opticians' Support Network for distribution to Ukrainian refugees, with 3,000 pairs earmarked for Ukrainian refugees in the greater Warsaw area.

Furthermore, Silhouette created new job opportunities at its Linz headquarters in Austria and its secondary production site in the Czech Republic specifically for refugees.

Ukrainian-speaking Silhouette employees will serve as mentors to the new staff members and, as a further sign of solidarity, Silhouette suspended all deliveries to its distribution partners in Russia and organised a company-wide matched donation campaign in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross.
