Organisers of Silmo 2020 have cancelled the event that was due to take place at Paris Nord Villepinte from 2–5 October and announced a roadshow in its place.
Silmo Hors les Murs (Silmo Outside the Walls) will take place throughout October and November, starting in Paris and repeated every week in a different French city.
The 2020 Silmo d’Or awards will still go ahead this year and the Silmo Academy will still issue a scholarship to support a research project.
Last month, organisers had hoped the show would go on but have now decided to cancel the event as uncertainties remained over whether it would be able to take place.
