Silmo Istanbul 2023 on November 23-26 hosted more than 500 exhibitors and brands and attracted some 13,385 visitors, including 80% from Turkey and 20% from 93 other countries.
A trend forum showcased optical and sunglass frames, while a Futurology zone enabled visitors to test smart products, discover innovations in virtual reality and experiment with a ‘ground-breaking approach to sustainable production’.
Silmo Academy highlighted training opportunities, inviting professionals and students to attend lectures, enrich their knowledge and deepen their awareness of the industry.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the optical fair hosted the Silmo Istanbul Awards, recognising leaders of the Turkish optical industry and their contribution and commitment to the sector.
