Registration has opened for Specsavers’ Professional Advancement Conference (PAC) which takes place at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) on Sunday November 3.
The one-day event, open to all, will feature continuing professional development (CPD) sessions for optometrists, covering a broad range of topics, as well as audiology sessions.
The conference will welcome renowned optics and audiology speakers who will address the use of AI in future practice, gene therapy and hearing and vision impairment in people with dementia.
Grant Duncan, director of professional development at Specsavers, said: ‘It is a packed agenda offering rewarding CPD sessions, fantastic speakers and facilitators, as well as dozens of exhibitors. There is something for everyone, and we’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of delegates from across the eye and ear health sectors.
‘This year’s PAC is even more special because it’s the 30th anniversary of the conference,’ Duncan added.
