Specsavers acquires domiciliary provider

Lookbook cazal15 607_602 CapHigh street multiple Specsavers has acquired domiciliary eye care provider Healthcall Optical Services for an undisclosed fee.

The acquisition will not impact the day-to-day running of Healthcall Optical Services and a spokesperson for Specsavers said there were no plans to roll out domiciliary services from its practices. Instead, care services will be led by domiciliary partners with the backing of what the multiple described as first-class business support.

Healthcall director Jayne Rawlinson said the company, which has provided domiciliary services for over 20 years, was delighted to be under the ownership of Specsavers.
