Optometrist directors Raqia Hanif, Frank Metzstein and dispensing optician director John Swallow celebrated with the 20,000th customer, Sandra Lawrence, at a special appointment at the branch where Ms Lawrence received a 50 per cent discount on her frames and lenses, and a bottle of champagne. Ms Hanif said: 'Recommendation has been an important factor in our success, and Ms Lawrence came to us on a friend's recommendation. We have focused on offering our patients a distinctive atmosphere, a blend of friendliness and professionalism, and attention to detail is paramount.' Ms Hanif revealed that the practice now had 1,000 patients for Specsavers' contact lens home delivery service, Lensmail.
