Specsavers donates high visibility vests during Road Safety Week

Specsavers provides community groups with 120,000 high visibility vests

Specsavers practices in the UK have provided pre-schools, Brownies and Scouts groups with 120,000 high visibility vests as part of Road Safety Week (November 18-24).

The Ballymena practice in Northern Ireland gave 60 high visibility vests to the 5th Ballymena Scout Group leaders and members for them to wear during trips, hikes and walks.

Practice director at Specsavers Ballymena Jackie Douglas said: ‘It was wonderful to welcome members and leaders of 5th Ballymena Scouts to our store to personally present them with hi-vis vests to suit all age groups. We are proud to back this year’s Road Safety Week and would like to encourage everyone to commit to the step up for safe streets campaign.’
