Specsavers' Doug Perkins to address profession at Optrafair

Specsavers joint group CEO Doug Perkins has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for Optrafair in April to deliver his vision for the future of the profession.

Perkins will address visitors on the opening Saturday of the exhibition, being held at the Birmingham NEC from April 9-11.

It follows Perkins’ involvement in last year’s Optrafair, where he appeared alongside peers for a Question Time event debating the co-existence of expanding multiples and independent optical practices on the high street.

Perkins also presented at Specsavers’ Professional Advancement Conference last October, where enhanced services, professional standards and children’s eye care were among the key themes.
